LivinginKata Posted November 22, 2017 Posted November 22, 2017 (edited) What sort of high speed caused that sort of damage ? Edit ... it gets worse when you examine the full set of accident images. Edited November 22, 2017 by LivinginKata
canopus1969 Posted November 22, 2017 Posted November 22, 2017 That really is 'wrapping it round the lamp post' !
Psimbo Posted November 22, 2017 Posted November 22, 2017 Natural selection- at least he won't be a danger to others anymore. May sound a bit callous but he must have been travelling at extremely high speeds (and a danger to other road users) to do that sort of damage. Rain as well so not driving within the road conditions- no sympathy.
transam Posted November 22, 2017 Posted November 22, 2017 Showing off for him cost....Fingers crossed for the passenger....
richard_smith237 Posted November 22, 2017 Posted November 22, 2017 He must have been traveling at some crazy speed to achieve this level of destruction. In contradiction to other posters, I do sympathize - I don't like to see anyone hurt or killed, especially in what is clearly an avoidable accident. I particularly sympathize with his family and with the young lady traveling with him who must have endured awful pain and quite likely life altering injuries. That said: it is fortunate that no further innocents were hurt, it also quite a cruel comment to suggest that this is one more careless driver who is no longer able to kill or maim further innocents... an awful comment, but unfortunately true.
NanLaew Posted November 22, 2017 Posted November 22, 2017 Move this to the Motor forum under "How to remove a Hilux engine in less than a second." The video from cctv should be good.
steelepulse Posted November 22, 2017 Posted November 22, 2017 Slippery road, excessive speeding, lack of driving fundamentals and correct speed for the conditions, and this is the outcome. Not quite sure where the fire is at that hour that requires going as fast as the wreck shows.

lonewolf99 Posted November 22, 2017 Posted November 22, 2017 Strangely, the locals always drive fast when it is raining, normally on motorbikes. They hurry to get out of the rain. I have witnessed this many times, the harder the rain, the faster the traffic goes. The kick it up several notches .....mental. And as for this maniac in the truck - one less on the road is always a good thing. Sad about the girl.
toofarnorth Posted November 22, 2017 Posted November 22, 2017 That is a lot of damage from hitting an inactive post. The small post didn't do it but the big one stopped him dead.
johncat1 Posted November 22, 2017 Posted November 22, 2017 The full set of crash photos are mind-blowing ..His speed must have been off the clock to do that much damage. At least the big pole did not fall down and hurt others. One idiot that we do not have to worry about anymore,. Making the roads safer for everyone

jossthaifarang Posted November 22, 2017 Posted November 22, 2017 I'm surprised she made it out alive, she must be in a pretty critical state. Hope she makes it out the other side..

Reigntax Posted November 22, 2017 Posted November 22, 2017 Clearly the cause was "fate" and incorrectly mounted, or insufficient amulets.
HHTel Posted November 23, 2017 Posted November 23, 2017 Surely the word in the title should be 'wrecked' not 'wicked'. Google translate?
madmitch Posted November 23, 2017 Posted November 23, 2017 Was it brake failure? Was it fate? Was it superglue under the accelerator pedal? No, it was no more than a @#$%ing stupid driver.
