Why are the soi dogs in your house.....:sorry:  Seriously as long as they are allowed around your house you will always have ticks unless they are treated as well.

Maybe some help here -

Or do a search in Plants, Pets and Vets forum as comes up a lot.

Your local vet should also be able to provide you with Bayticol. My dog had a severe attack of ticks which seriously affected her, but after several visits to the vet for treatment she was declared fit, after that we visit the vet every 2 months for an anti-tick injection, which over the last 18 months has proven to have been effective. Bayticol sprayed all around her play and sleeping area seems to have remover the threat.

Good luck.

if you keep having tick in the house you probably have one or few ticks that have leid eggs. treatments for the ticks won't help till you find the source and get rid of the eggs

for a non toxic alternative you can use food grade diatomaceous earth in the house.  dust it around the edges of walls and in window sills.  It can be kind of messy though.  I have not found any in Thailand.  I order mine from vitacost, it's in the dog section there.  Keeping the yard well groomed can help too.  Ticks like to find places they can climb up about a meter or so.  Food grade DE can also be sprinled on mattresses to kill bed bugs and such.  I put it on the mattress and put a mattress cover over it before the sheet, to keep the mess down.

Bravecto for dogs.  Your dog will become both a tick magnet and a walking tick killer. I haven't seen a tick on our property since we started the dogs on Bravecto.  Pricey, but it works.

Absolutely correct - great stuff.  Treat some your dog's friends as well and the ticks will 'fly' away.

Ivermectin for the dogs Available in tablet and injection forms. I know a lot will disagree with me but I don't care. It works, it's cheap. Saved my dogs and my wallet from a lot of pain. Pricey does not make it better.

Permedan for spraying around the house.

You could also call in one of those Rentokil type companies that do pest control.

Yes, works and has been used for a long time.

I notice that Bravecto is effective for 6+ months although the vets say every 90 days.  We watch for ticks returning and then treat again.  Some temple dogs have gone over 9 months now which brings the monthly cost way down.  Buy the tablet for the largest dogs (I think that is up to 40 kg) and break it into smaller pieces depending on the weight of the dog needing treatment.  The cost for the tablet for the larger dogs is the same as the tablet for smaller dogs.

All mammals might carry tics, so try even to get rid of mice , rats, cats and dogs.....

You might also add wife, children and especially in-laws!  Life will be lonely but you'll only have the problem of delousing yourself!

I assume that you have no pets.

Just get a 3 pack Bygon gold and spray a wide border outside your door floor everyday. Don't forget inside for a few days.

Use mask for sparing.

If you get one of those orange color sprays (for insects) from 7-11 then you can use its long metal "nuzzle" for better concentration. The nuzzle could be use with Bygon spray.

Very cheap alternative is also mix equal parts of camphor powder with normal talc and rub into dogs coats; you could burn camphor in the rooms; and mop your floors with pine oil mixed in the water.
