The Mall Group was the first retailer to invest in the Ramkamhaeng area with The Mall Ramkamhaeng’s launch in December 1983 back when the neighborhood was an outlying area of Bangkok. This branch of The Mall was just as modern as other malls in the city centre.

Throughout 34 years of service, The Mall 2 Ramkamhaeng developed continuously to meet customers’ shopping needs, gaining customers’ trust, and developed Ramkamhaeng community into a business area. Currently, Ramkamhaeng area is developed with expansions of residential buildings, resulting in lifestyle changes. The sky train’s orange line is in progress to link residents to the city center quickly and conveniently. As such, business in this area is growing and thriving so The Mall decided to renovate The Mall Ramkamhaeng to meet the growing and changing needs of Ramkamhaeng residents.
