One of the few places dogs are not used nor many xrays on connecting luggage. It can be a good transfer point.

But a much higher stake if caught.

The amount of people travelling around the gulf with all sorts of spices, foods and incense make it difficult for security to efficiently screen anything that gets flagged, they are foolish to not have dogs, same in Doha, all technology and no effort to use it.

i promise, i bet myself they were Africans before i opened the link and hey presto. all the resorts i frequent which is at least one weekend a month, have had not even one African staying there. Koh Yai, Hua Hin, wherever. Not one. just saying
In my opinion all that means is Africans are more likely to do things like this because thay are poor and more desperate then most. And are probably easily talked or tricked or pressured into doing these things. And if you are going to mention its normally affricans you should at least attempt think about why and mention it in your post.

Yes of course.  Blah blah blah.

(For the vast majority it's called common sense.)

My mate from Ghana gets pulled aside frequently arriving in Thailand, with his family on weekend getaways from work. Return flights in hand, money, evidence of citizenship in another country and job etc etc....what profile does he fit into?

Applying that logic to screen traffickers isnt effective. The ones who sail do so because they don't fit the profile.

Not interested in debating the fine line between racism and profiling in Thailand, just Google operation black hawk......sums it up for me :guitar:

"That is proof enough for me, if an African is not staying at a resort,. they are drug smugglers. Or is it the other way around, I dont know, the comment is too ridiculous to even contemplate seriously."

I think you will find i am right, but you think as you wish. i'm sure thailand wants a load of broke africans living in shit holes scamming people because they have no money. yawn

don't fill the resorts?

nonesense

You seriously think all Africans who don't stay in resorts are drug smugglers? I can't even get my head around what a ridiculous stament this is.

1. There would literally 100,00s of African drug smugglers in this country and there wouldn't be enough demand for the drugs.

2.if this was the case and i was a Drug Lord I would make sure all my mules stayed in resorts. Whats the price of a week in a resort when you are talking about a kilo or 2 of coke. And this would throw the BIB of the case If they was applying your logic.

It dose make me luagh when people throw all logic out if the window why they are making there bigetted views.

I wonder why it took so long for Africans to make the news. Almost a month and half has gone by with the Africans out of the show while the farangs have been dominating. Now lets roast these Africans., its about time. Some people are so stupid. I hope they got a long term in jail. that is 1 year per gram of cocaine. That will teach the others not to do drugs
They tried that here 1 year 1 yabba pill and it didn't work here did it? Putting people in prison for taking drugs is no way the Answer it don't help.

What's your point?  Nobody is saying all Africans are drug smugglers, just that most drug smugglers seem to be Africans.
