December 19, 20178 yr Found this at the back of the cupboard. Can't remember when it was bought. Any guesses how old it might be 20/30/40 years ?
December 19, 20178 yr Does the label have pint or litres on it, I guessing if bought in the UK pre 1971-72 it would be in imperial.
December 19, 20178 yr ^ An old two-litre bottling of Gordon's Yellow Label Dry Gin, rarely seen in the UK as it's the export version. We estimate this bottle dates from the 1970s
December 19, 20178 yr I have no idea myself, but this may be of interest (label looks similar to yours, but without the Thai print) ... https://www.drinksplanet.com/how-do-i-date-a-bottle-of-gordons-dry-gin-theres-a-code-on-the-bottom-but...-7233716.html Any markings on the base of the bottle?
December 19, 20178 yr No idea how old your bottle of gin is. I'd imagine it would be safe to drink though as all that alcohol keeps the bugs away. I ate a Sausage Casserole mix sachet tonight that expired in November 2016 and so far I'm still here. Ps. The casserole was crap BTW.

It is very well documented that sausage casserole mix poisoning takes up to 24 hours to develop and is only fatal in 98% of cases. Let us know how you feel in the morning.

December 20, 20178 yr If you blow the photo up the use-by-date is actually printed on the label. 1769
