Whats the weather ususally like early-mid May on Koh Phangan? Is it usually rainy? Should I consider going to Koh Phi Phi or Koh Chang instead?

april and may are usually the hottest months on phangan....

I leave in May, usually by that point I've had enough of the heat and I go home for a month to visit my parents in the cool spring weather
