YALA, 28th December 2017 (NNT) - People in Yala are still booking train tickets back to their hometowns for the New Years holiday. Tickets to Bangkok have now been fully booked until next year.

Officials at the Yala Police Station have deployed officials to provide services to the large number of people traveling to their hometowns and tourist destinations.

All southern lines to and from Bangkok have been fully booked until January 4 next year, while short distance tickets are still available.

Deputy Yala Governor Weerus Prasetto chaired the opening of service centers along Suan Phueng District to facilitate traffic flow and provide information to travelers.

In Suan Phueng District, commuters need to be extra cautious due to road construction that includes the road near Crown Prince Hospital through to Chom Bueng District as well as the road from the Suan Phueng district office to the intersection near Phu Pha Phueng Resort. Construction activities have been put on hold til the new year and signs have been posted to boost awareness.
