When can officially extend a TR visa ?

I willing to know, when it's possible to go CW to asking for the extension of the TR Tourist Visa ?

45 days in advance you can extend a Tourist visa in Chiang Mai

I have heard of them doing them a month early.

I suspect that with CW the OP did not mean the Chiang Mai immigration office but the Bangkok immigration office in Chaeng Watthana Road. (It is understandable that you could not guess that, as with sveral dozen immigration offices in Thailand it seems a bit strange to refer to one of them with the initials of the name of the street where the office is located)

I did assume that he meant Bangkok immigration and I was just stating what CM immigration do.

I was at CM immigration last week and there was a sign there stating as such , and it may well probably be the same at CW
