January 22, 20188 yr It was so difficult to get an extension for my "permission to stay" for my tourist visa I was wondering if the visa/copy shop next to immigration in Jomtien would do the leg work for me. Anyone have this knowledge?
January 24, 20188 yr another thread running, they will require a tm 30 notification to have been summitted

They now issue a receipt which you have to get copied. I was told to make copies of different things by 2 different people even though I had all the copies that were previously required.
January 26, 20188 yr TM30s just another money making racket by Immigration...........how are you supposed to know about the requirement until you go for the extension or report. I didnt see it advertised at Bangkok upon arrival or anywhere on the TH6 arrivals card...........i came back from the UK 12th of this month, went down to Immigration to do the neccesary 8.30am to find 40 people in front of me..went back 1.30pm to find 60.......gave up after that.....going to try to do my 90 day report online so i have a slip to show at next report ........ Also have a friend who stays in a guesthouse just been for a 30 day extension and the guesthouse hadnt reported him............result 1600 baht fine........luckily the guesthouse are reducing his bill by said amount... They know it is going to be busy but have 1 girl working.............who in the hell wants to sit down there after what in my case was a 24hour trip the day before......... Feel better now........

Yeah it is BS after having gone through the hell to get a TM 30 last week). I also believe it's another money making scheme which was created to catch out unsuspecting Falangs. Money extraction.

Also why is it only Chonburi, Chang Mai and Phuket enforcing this rule?Sent from my [device_name] using http://Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app
