webfact
Pattaya ladyboy arrested after sex with "Mr Claus" on Christmas Day Picture: Daily News Pattaya police led by station chief Apichai Krobpetch arrested a 25 year old ladyboy at the weekend after a Danish tourist reported he had stolen 5,000 baht from him on Christmas Day. The tourist was called Claus Book Mortensen, 44. Police obtained an arrest warrant but it has been many weeks since the crime. On Saturday the cops nabbed Suwat "Am" Thongkhao at a room in the Nanthasin Mansion. The Danish tourist had told police that he was in Walking Street on December 25th at 4.30am when he was approached by the ladyboy who suggested sex in Soi VJ. After the deed was done he was in the bathroom when the lady boy left with 5,000 baht. CCTV footage led to the issuing of an arrest warrant. Suwat was known to the police having two previous charges of theft against him. He was currently out on bail fighting a previous charge. When the police arrested him he burst into tears claiming that he did not steal from the Danish man - it was rightfully his for services rendered, he claimed. He has been charged with theft at a premises in the hours of darkness. Source: Daily News -- © Copyright Thai Visa News 2018-02-

Orac
Fair play to Mr Claus for seeing this through so that justice is done. Not many would want there name splashed all over the national press for having sex with a ladyboy over 5000 baht.

Not sure there is any more shame in a ladyboy stealing your money than a female hooker. Certainly not in Pattya where a dalliance with a ladyboy is all part of life's rich tapestry. Breaking into someone's house during daylight is breaking and entering after dark it is burglary with heavier penalties.

Sydebolle
You simply cannot make such stories up - welcome to Thailand. Mr. Claus on Christmas - maybe B5000 for parking the sledge was a little pricey; question is, was it worthwhile?
