The manic
Currently in BKK and tried to change some paper ten pound notes before they go out of circulation but could not. The money changes will only take the new acrylic ones.

jackdd
This has been mentioned in another topic already just a few days ago. So now you have one week to bring them to the UK and exchange them before they are worthless

VBF
If you can post or deliver them to the Bank of England "The bank said it would accept the old notes indefinitely." https://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/news/old-10-notes-deadline-legal-tender-circulation-jane-austen-plastic-banknotes-a8217476.html
samsensam
this is hardly surprising as the paper £10 notes cease to become legal tender on 1 march, this has been well publicised and everyone has had plenty of time to get rid of expiring notes. if you haven't you can return old notes to the bank of england and receive new notes or you can pay old notes into your bank account in the uk. obviously money exchanges dont want the hassle dealing with these old notes, common sense really.
