A high profile incident in Thailand where a woman took an axe and shovel to bash a pick-up blocking her driveway has been turned into a computer game.

The incident made national news when the woman was filmed attacking the car.

However, it turned out that the father of the woman had died after he fell into a coma and could not be taken to hospital in time as someone was blocking the driveway.

Following coverage of the incident four markets which are located opposite the house have now been closed down, with authorities saying they were trading illegally.

On Saturday, a Facebook user played out the incident on the popular Grand Theft Auto computer game.

The GTA inspired video has amassed more than 700,000 views on Facebook alone.

Rather than mindlessly attacking the car with a shovel, she would have been better off just smashing one of the side windows, releasing the handbrake and pushing it out of the way.

Logically I'd agree with you.

However, there's emotion involved too. After years of being blocked in, and their father dying due to being unable to get to hospital, it's hardly surprising that something snapped.

I suppose the upside is the markets are (apparently) closed down, hopefully alleviating a lot a of the parking problems.

I thought that had been exposed as ''misinformation''
