Video: Fruit seller goes ballistic with Samurai sword at "Thetsakit" officer

 

 

A video posted to Facebook showed an irate fruit seller threaten a municipal officer with a Samurai sword.

 

Posted on the page of "Kwanchai Na Khrap" a comment seemed to have been left from a thetsakit officer that said:

 

"Just doing our job. It's always potentially dangerous with no one to help us. We just have to be vigilant".

 

In the video a man is filmed with a sword in his right hand while a woman who tries to stop him is sent away. The man then gets back in his pick-up, reverses and drives off.

 

The matter has been reported to police for action, said Tnews who did not report why the incident might have occurred.

 

The irate man says: "Mung mai day daek tua goo lok" that, according to the context has several translations, all unsavory.

 

Suffice to say....he is not a happy mango seller.

The officer has a radio, why did he not use it to call pc plod?

That loony needs jailed, too many times now we are seeing people like him producing swords /knives, they need stopped now.

But I thought Thailand was constantly promoted as the most Buddhist nation on the planet, filled to the brim with smiling friendly people?

easily  solved with a policeman with a gun and the training to use it, either  that or a taser but in his  case Id  prefer t he gun so he wont  be inclined to repeat this  behaviour.

That said i was in a govt  building the other day and one poor  woman was in there as she had been selling chickens  without  the proper paperwork to sell them in a market, my Wife asked her  how many chickens she sold, FOUR in a whole evening, stupid paperwork for 4  chickens and the woman had come miles to register.

They might have shiny Pick-Up Trucks instead of Buffalo Carts these days but they are still Savages from The Boonies !

Maybe he's too concerned about being aware of what's happening with the sword that he's being threatened with for the 37 seconds that it lasted than he is being distracted with a radio call.  

Looks to me that the samurai man comes directly from a re-make of "Planet of The Apes : Ninja Resurrection".

That's hardly promoting the second amendment lobby with that comment. The mere fact you can say something like that without realising what it means tells me along with your other 2nd Am. friends should not be allowed to vite on it. I am not having a go at you.

 

In a country as fundamentally anarchic as Thailand is I thought he used his skills rather well.

 

As far as I was concerned I treated all Thai males as if they were on a hair trigger and ready to run amok at any time.

 

Hmmm..come to think of it..that is how I ended up viewing Thai females as well.

Good on the officer and the dude's missus for keeping a cool head.  Better to let him leave gracefully then rock up at his dojo later on when he has calmed down.

One way of cutting the mangoes, I suppose.
