No one gives a sh... to the speed limit on those highways.
It's a miracle that there are not more deadly accidents.
If they would install traffic cameras and enforce speeding they could omit the toll and use all the money for maintenance.

How fast were these two cars going at the time?
It's not about this accident in particular but more about my experience.

I read on Thai visa ( true or not?) that only 4% of fines were ever paid.

So many vehicles burst into flames here after an accident...I can only put it down to LPG or natural gas.

Many people have gas installed....even to small 1200cc cars!

When they get the system up and running you won't get a tax disc until you pay the outstanding fines.

Which expressway? Bangkok has so many. And when the location of a cam is known everybody slow down before.
I drive Don Mueang quite often. If you adhere to the speed limit, you are scared that some idiot hits you at the back.

Just an idea.

Almost all cars now work on fuel high pressure injection systems. Years ago the highest pressure to feed fuel to carbs was 2 to 5 psi and many cars had mechanical pumps that stopped working when the engine stopped.

Now all you need in a very high pressure system is the battery power to keep it going.

One fractured line in the system and you've got gasoline spraying out all over a hot engine and exhaust.

Edit.

30 to 50 psi for injection.

Thailand will make so much money if they put camera up and ofcores enforce the law
