DPM Prawit denies the existence of CIA’s secret prison in Thailand

Deputy Prime Minister Prawit Wongsuwon who is in charge of security affairs categorically denied there was a CIA’s secret detention centre in Thailand as alleged by Amnesty International.

‘Preaw’ admits to being lone killer while pleading manslaughter

The 24-year-old Priyanuch “Preaw” Nonwangchai has told Khon Kaen Court that she was the only one who killed Warisara Klinjui, 22, whose body was dismembered and found buried in a forest area in Khon Kaen’s Khao Suan Kwang district in May.

Minister questions Mahasarakham University if it protects its student intern enough after exposing corruption

The deputy minister for education yesterday questioned the role of the Mahasarakham University in protecting a university student intern after she exposed in public corruption at the Khon Kaen Centre for the Destitute, but was later ordered to apologize a wrongdoer at the centre by her thesis supervisor, who is a lecturer at the university.
