There are bans on cigarette smoking but no ban on rice stubble smoking?
I have never smoked tobacco so do not enjoy smoking stubble now. 
Some locals wear masks when outside/shopping but take them off when in their homes? 
I have seen fly wire screens but have not seen a house with smoke screens installed yet

I feel the same way. Gave up the fags about 17 years ago, so get pretty peeved off when stuck behind some vehicle spewing out thick black smoke while on my motorbike.

I am quite convinced there is a huge market around the world for bonafide certified

indoor air filtration equipment. Not the BS air circulation crap but genuine equipment

that filters the sub 2.5-micron particulate. China, India, and South East Asia would be

huge markets with their levels of air pollution.

There is, it is called a HEPA filter and is commonly available.
