Bangkok Pharmacy Downtown

Featured Replies

My go to pharmacy on Rama IV near the Sala Daeng BTS is reportedly closed (S.C.) as this area is rumored to be redeveloped. I am looking for an alternative that is downtown or closed to a BTS or MRT station.  S.C. besides great prices had a great selection and was always very busy. You could also place orders and they would mail. Looking for suggestions downtown and/or BTS convenient. I live in Pattaya but go to Bangkok frequently and stock up on meds so S.C. will be missed.

Thanks. I priced a few items and they were the same as hospital pharmacy prices.

Not downtown but right near BTS:

Ring Rote Pharmacy

Soi On-Nut (Sukhumvit Soi 77) about 40-50 m into the soi from Sukhumvit on the right side. They have a large stock of reasonably priced generics.

There is another one just across the street from them too

On Nut BTS station

There is a large pharmacy near the top of Sukhumvit soi 4 (just past the gas station, but before Bully's bar and restaurant) run by 3 Chinese Thai family members who are knowledegable and helpful.  The prices are also excellent.  Whenever I am in Thailand I stop by and stock up.  This pharmacy is about a 2-minute walk from the Ploenchit BTS station or a 5-minute walk from the Nana BTS station.

The reported closing of S.C. on Rama IV is false, they are open after a minor renovation. Thanks to all for your replies.
