A good health drink?

Featured Replies

Every morning I blend up a fruit mix of what ever we have, eg mango, banana, falang, grapes etc combined with some ginger, turmeric and garlic.

I want to increase the blender drinks and thought of a drinks I can have throughout the day.

At Makro yesterday I bought some frozen spinach, and broccoli and will blend these with water for my drink.

I know frozen stuff is probably not the best way to go, but I can keep it in the freezer.

Should I cook the frozen spinach and broccoli first (to kill germs...don't really want to) before I put it in the blender?

What else should I add to make the drink more drinkable?

Is your smoothie making you FAT? Overloading your blender with healthy ingredients could actually be doing more harm than good

Hi, thanks for that, but I can't open it. Will try again later.
I read that green vegetables are good for your liver, and as my liver reading were a bit high last check-up (since coming down with no grog), and I'm about losing 5 kg by sticking to a very low calorie diet, mainly meal replacement shakes, juices and fish.

Yeah, got that thanks.

I thought I couldn't get it because they've banned Aussies after we decided to help the ball in the South African cricket match. [emoji38]
