Police have arrested 5 people with drugs and electronic cigarettes.

The Sapanruam Community in Rassada was the target. Police have long recognised it to be a drug trading area.

Police initially arrested 67 year old Daeng Chuaysod at the community with 5 kilograms of Kratom leaves and 46 bottles of coughing syrup, 60 ml each.

Now what makes me think they were scraping around a bit to justify this raid on such an infamous drug trading area:

An old guy with Kratom leaves and cough syrup;

A young guy with 25 Yaba pills;

And the pièce de résistance:

" ... 20 year old Wirat Nookul in Talad Yai with one pack of Kratom leaves, one pot of Kratom water that was boiling on a picnic gas tank, two electronic cigarettes and two bottles of vaping liquid."

That was some "drugs crackdown"; I bet the drug barons are quaking in their boots.
