I suggest going to  0:40 seconds for a close up look at "cool" shades.

To each his own and I fully agree they are cost effective, but only that for your's truly.

it's not the shades that are uncool, it's the hat...suitable headwear is required fer clip on shades...

That is regarding plastic in general and not specifically sunglasses

So if plastic is used for sunglasses it changes the properties of plastic?

Since I left my original Ray Ban on the backseat of a Bangkok taxi years ago, I swore myself never buy expensive shades again!

So I browsed the web and found nice ones on eBay. Bought a dozen for almost nothing with UV glasses.

Did let one pair check at the local Topcharoen shop if they had the UV protecting glasses for sure.

Now if I lose one or they get worn just open the drawer of my desk and take another one out.

Ray Ban's  (real ones) will have a P next to the Ray Ban on corner  of lens if they are polarized. Just because they're high end doesn't mean they are automatically polarized.

Didn’t buy Ray Bans or copy, just some no brand shades.

There are a lot of situations where polarization is not desirable, so can buy with or without.

That's your opinion and I respectfully don't agree.

I'm OK to buy the separate glasses and forget the "clip ons".

To each his own.
