BANGKOK, 6 April 2018 (NNT) - Thailand's Ministry of Defense has launched a new version of its mascot ‘Nong Kiao Koi’ which was first introduced last year to cultivate public understanding about the social contract.

The new version of the Ministry of Defense’s mascot features a new costume which resembles those worn by a famous girl singing group. The word ‘Kieaw Koi’, which means a pinky promise in English, is a symbol of unity.

Assistant Spokesperson at the Ministry of Defense, Col Wanchana Sawasdee, was seen standing next to Nong Kiao Koi and fostering public understanding about the social contract at the Victory Monument in Bangkok.

The mascot costumes cost 20,000 baht.

Nong Kiao Koi also serves as a reconciliation ambassador to unite Thai people and to improve understanding of the social contract.

As promises and Thai military don't belong in the same spectrum of the universe, this symbol could be used to signify the suffix "...but don't hold your breath" to anything emanating from the mouth of an official

and note the choice of finger

The middle finger is reserved for responding to questions about the election
