Popular Post Silurian
I always thought it would be the Manafort indictments that would be the key to blowing apart the web of WH lies but Manafort is proving to be a tough nut to crack. Probably due to the fact that Manafort doesn't like the taste of Russian nerve agent in his martini. Now it appears that Cohen might be the one to spill the beans. The thought of jail time will turn that weasel of a lawyer into pudding. There will probably be a few weeks of lawyers passing motions of dismissal and the like, but in the end Cohen will have to pay the price. Either Cohen accepts a long jail sentence or he turns and makes a plea deal. My money is on Cohen singing loud and strong. Once Cohen starts to bray, you can bet the WH will distance themselves from Cohen. Soon it will be stated that Cohen wasn't really the reality TV president's main lawyer but someone that filed some simple law forms at one time or another. Just another coffee boy.

He went into the Presidency thinking he could do the same thing. He has managed to piss off the FBI; CIA; the US Military; the Justice Department not to mention most of the Foreign community. These people don't answer to Trump (except the military)- they answer directly to the American people and they are going to do their job. Even Trump with all his billions and connections can't buy his way out of this one. My only fear is that he may start a war in an attempt to buy time and cover and he has the perfect foil to do it in John Bolton. I keep thinking it can't get any worse- but it does and it will. That's really the crux of it. Most of us know Trump to be a blithering idiot, albeit a largely harmless one. True he's hired some incredibly corrupt individuals, is destroying the environment, and dividing America like no one before him. But if Trump starts a war in Syria or elsewhere just to deflect from what Mueller is doing--and then tries to fire him in the middle of a war--then we've got much more to worry about. I don't put anything pass this guy, he's that freakin crazy and stupid.
Popular Post Chomper Higgot
Imagine for a moment you are the investigating officer, you believe you have reason to seek a warrant to raid the offices of the sitting president's personal lawyer. You are going to have to go in front of a judge and ask for a warrant. Are you sure the alleged crimes are serious enough for the judge to grant you the warrant? Are you sure the case you can make before the judge is secure enough for the judge to grant you a warrant? Think about how very serious it is to go after the president's personal lawyer - how very sure you must be of your case. Now step out of the imagining and into the reality that a prosecutor did present sufficiently compelling evidence of crimes to be granted a warrant to raid the president's lawyer. The FBI have convinced a judge that there is solid evidence of very serious crimes. This is why the illiberals are ranting today.

As for the Deep State, I hear Alex Jones is looking for assistants, maybe you and all those that "like" your posts could apply. You are bright enough (assumption on my part) to know that this is not about someone having sex with an adult movie star a long time ago (though it was a VERY short time after his new wife had given birth to their child....and no.........I and many many other men have never done that), you know what it's really about but you just disingenuously detract. While it may be a slim difference, she wasn't a prostitute, but a porn actress, and far as I know no money was paid for the liason- it was consensual. The problem started when she apparently tried to make money out of it when he decided to become president. That's how I understand it anyway. Jingthing
Uh oh. The "trump" is super unhinged again. This time about his sleazy lawyer's problems which of course, as he well knows, are probably his problems too. So how many times this week is it? You know the boy who cried wolf story. This may be really big (more like probably) but the way he rants, so is some petty personal spat with a show celebrity. I think Americans are growing very tired with all the "winning." Jingthing
"trump" in the danger zone. Interesting times indeed! "Should Trump orchestrate the firing of Mueller, he would unleash a political tsunami and trigger demands for impeachment by Democrats. Republicans who run Congress would face extreme pressure to consider whether the President's actions merit such draconian action. There's no way out of that imbroglio without causing significant political reverberations that would last for years." https://edition.cnn.com/2018/04/10/politics/michael-cohen-donald-trump-white-house/index.html Sent from my Lenovo A7020a48 using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app
