Nothing has been pointed out. You have made a claim without evidence. Which follows perfectly the shenanigans of your protagonists in this debacle.

You shouldn't waste your time with Mr. M.  Hopeless case.

If not war now ... maybe later.

Quote

Iran’s elite Quds Force is trying to use Syria as a base to pressure Israel. Israel is not going to stand for it.

SYRIA-ISRAEL BORDER, Golan Heights — Stop me if you’ve heard this one before: Syria is going to explode. I know, you have heard that one before, but this time I mean really explode. Because the U.S., British and French attack on Syria to punish its regime for its vile use of chemical weapons — and Russia’s vow to respond — is actually just the second-most dangerous confrontation unfolding in that country.

Seems like you're having difficulties following the discussion. May want to re-read posts before commenting. As for "shenanigans", you haven't demonstrated any, just claimed that there are such. And "my protagonists"? Kinda narrow minded there, but do tell. For reference and clearance - nothing said by me about this strike being especially effective in curbing Assad's activities, or promoting US goals.

Nope. You claimed, without evidence,  that assessments in the msm proved to be accurate. Then you proceeded to argue on the basis of your claims being established fact. Combined with verbosity, it's your modus operandi. Doesn't fool the astute though.

The usual mix of false claims and personal attacks.

Some of the assessments published on media outlets (I haven't mentioned "msm", that's something you added to the mix) were correct, some weren't (didn't claim otherwise). As for reviewing factors, available means, and military options - there were plenty of such reports, you feigning ignorance of such notwithstanding. Even more pronounced with regard to more specialized forums and websites.

As for the comment regarding drones, it was (a) a deflection attempt, and (b) not quite on the money - there wasn't a whole lot mentioned of drones in the context of a possible attack, mainly because more plausible means and options are available.

Most of these include comments by various analysts - some can be found (in more detailed versions) elsewhere (not all open-access, though), and the same goes for some of the reporters/authors. An "astute" poster would have been aware of all that.

More disingenuity. This is what you claimed earlier:

"There was actually many assessments, most pretty much conforming to what was actually carried out."

The 64,000-dollar question we need to ask ourselves, assuming the future remains relevant, is what on earth are we doing allowing such dreadful creatures to determine our destinies and what we can do to replace them with individuals of intelligence and integrity, more empathetic with most people's aspirations.

It's a question that would certainly have been worth contemplating as we huddled in our nuclear shelters - except that those idiots now trying to frogmarch us into war conveniently forgot to build us any

For those huddled in basements, feverishly trolling while twilights last gleaming as visions of mushroom clouds dance on keyboards.

Remember; Humpty Dumpty did give Vlad, the Impaler over 24 hours to clear out his chemical engineers and support personal who helped make Assad chemical attack a reality. What are friend’s for!

Yes, and? Plenty assessment detailed means available, many of them outlining what is realistically possible and probable. Provided you with several links (though fully aware it's futile), and pointed out further sources. If you wish to engage in your usual auto-denial mode, that's totally up to you.

The key word is "most" .
