April 4... Darn I missed that. Was on the bridge yesterday April 13.

Not sure if that makes a lucky number but just to make sure I’ll buy lottery ticket 413:)

Plus 134, and to be sure also 143.

I think it's funny how the media say uproar!!

They are young and horny?, we were all that age one upon a time.

And we all have done some dumb shit when we were young.

So a naked lady on a bridge causing outrage well go to Patong or Nana or walking street or Bangla Rd it's all there plain as day and it's real not just  a photo.

It always blows me away how  Thai priorities are so back to front

Many people fail to consider that “the media “  is, for the most part , no more than a half dozen self righteous  editorial board members that try to make, shape or change public policy and opinion via their mass distribution ability....often successful.

These young people have no respect for themselves or for each other. They are brought up with the social media and it`s all about obtaining likes and gaining attention trying to outdo the others for the most social media attention. The more outrageous, the more social media attention they receive.

These young people are in groups who`s ambitions are to seek fame on the social media. A sad sign of the times we now live in.

It's 2018.   Topless beaches, girls flashing their breasts when on nights out and the ever popular mooning out of coach windows.  In the sixties you had "Happenings" in places like Hyde park and the music festivals with a lot of the girls dancing topless or completely nude.  In the seventies you had the streakers at many of the sporting events (remember Erica Roe?) and topless "models in several of the daily red tops.  Now it is social media, sexting and selfies.  Each generation has it's own way of expressing it's own version of a finger up to authorities and what is considered "inappropriate".  I hope that continues unabated.

"Police charged the female student with committing a shameful act by exposing her body in public – an offence liable to 5,000 baht fine.  But police decided to fine her 1,000 baht and released her as well as her boyfriend."

Her boyfriend put her up to it along with help from Col. Mustard.

Things are safe once again in Thailand.   Sleep tight.

Seems fair.......

She was naked at a public place= 1,000

Tourist (possibly unwittingly) sitting on a ledge at a place of worship fully clothed, (possible panty shot) = 10,000

Yes, we need more of these police on the streets to look out and protect the tourists as they definitely have foreigners safety and well being in mind.

Agreed total case of double standards...

(Russian) tourist feeding fish in the open sea with food she bought from the boat boy = THB 100'000 bail after having first spent the weekend in a Phuket prison.

And then the clowns wonder why the paying tourists go elsewhere while the animalistic Chinese brethren from the North invade the place by the ten thousands ........  Pathetic!

I'm sure somebody else pointed this out before but the story says the pictures were taken 10 days ago so it has nothing much to do with Songkran.

Just another SM prank.

SM is a great invention, makes the owners and a few people lots&lots of money.

There are also some sad cases where young people make embarrassing mistakes (so do old people of course) but the outcome can be catastrophic for their future.

A young girl was elected as the UK's youngest Councillor a year or two ago, but she has since committed suicide after when inappropriate tweets she had made were uncovered.
