Kalasin’s Muang district police superintendent has been ordered transferred to the provincial police operations centre after he was found to be out of the district during Songkran festival .

Pol Maj-Gen Montri Charunpong, the Kalasin provincial police commander, said on Sunday(Apr 15) that he ordered Pol Col Ratchapol Sermsarun to be moved out of Muang district because the latter was not on duty in the district on Saturday as required and also there were two scuffle cases involving youths at a Songkran event held at the Pong Land circle in front of Wat Sawang Kongka in municipal area.

Possibly he was on the prowl for naked photo shoots on bridges out of town, putting morality ahead of safety!

because the latter was not on duty in the district on Saturday as required

in this case he was physically absent, what about the likely widespread cases where these officials are mentally absent ?
