It's a dirty business in the fertilizer family as three people shot dead in Nonthaburi mansion

 

 

Police were called to a millionaire's residence in Bang Bua Thong where three people were shot dead.

 

It is understood that the shooter was Niphon Angthong, 55, who killed his elder brother Jamnong Angthong, 59, and his brother's wife Rujikarn "Kung" Ariyarungwuthikorn before turning the gun on himself. 

 

Yesterday the head of Nonthaburi police Susak Prakkamakun led an investigative team to try to get to the bottom of the shootings.

 

Daily News reported that Jamnong was the owner of a very successful fertilizer business that made millions in the Bang Bua Thong and adjoining areas. 

 

He entrusted the day to day running of the business to his younger brother and his son but all that changed when the older brother married "Kung" who was young enough to be his daughter,

 

Since the marriage a year ago there had been nothing but arguments between the younger brother and his sister-in-law.

 

It is thought he finally snapped shooting the couple and ending his own life in a hail of bullets.

 

Investigations continue.

Many Thai people got VERY rich from selling fertilizers. I still wonder how that's possible, it just means the farmers overpaid for their ferts...Don't they know where to buy it cheaper?
