Cricky Posted April 26, 2018 Posted April 26, 2018 I have some spare cash and would like to buy some stock on the SET. Probably Thai banks, BKK Bank, Kasikorn or one of the others. I would like to know what issues as a foreigner I need to know regarding taxes and other items of concern.
kingstonkid Posted April 26, 2018 Posted April 26, 2018 There are not a lot of issues. You just need to have the right visa and take your passport. I am with Maybank. no hassles

khunPer Posted April 26, 2018 Posted April 26, 2018 I answered this in another thread, asking similar question, a few days ago – perhaps useful information for you. Personal advise when buying bank stocks (and also in general), take a look at P/E, and P/BV, and dividend payouts, and historical performance, before you buy.
