Silly old fool. Takes a stranger back to his hotel room, then proceeds to take a shower while leaving all his valuables unattended in her presence. I would have bet money on what would happen. Led by the wrong head. Even at 65. Still. Lesson learned. I bet he won't do that again. -

They look like blanks, maybe he collects them and use them as decorations, they don't look like they are live, he should have enquired if he could keep them this story does not mention this probability -

EV Charger paradox in Pattaya
I don't think the current old meter can handle off-peak metering. Not 100% sure, but in Aus water heaters are connected to off-peak supply and at low grid usage times (say 0200 to 0400hr) and the power company sends some pulses down the line that enables off-peak supply cost rates that are lower than normal rates. I think that's why in Thailand you have to have a separate TOU meter to get the low rates. So my thoughts are that PEA shoots themselves in the foot for not supplying the TOU meters as more people would then go to full solar for the house and EV charging, therefore PEA loses out.
