If the average score increases then the 100 mark will also increase as this is based upon the average gained in the test. you can only get an average score of 98 if you are testing against a large number of people who are gaining higher scores. you cannot have an average of 98 among all those tested. perhaps the testers or the media require an IQ test. As I understand it, the global mean is 100 (and the tested mean is adjusted such that the global mean is always 100, The curve is adjusted such that a set percentage of the sample falls within plus/minus a set number of standard deviations (I believe this to always have been 2 but I'm no expert).. Also as I understand it, his defines the shape of the normal (gaussian) distribution curve while retaining the defining area beneath the curve. A small (eg national) sample need not have 100 as a mean when measured against the global results, which is how the Thailand mean is (or was) 89 when plotted on the global result. I'm not an expert so I hope this is right, if it isn't then some kind person can politely tell me what is correct and where I have erred. Prayuth of course, is trying to bend the system to pretend that Thais are not as relatively dim as they are. It's a face thing and should be ignored precisely because of that. The idea of having a separate or free-standing IQ test for Thais is a nonsense. As I understand (or misunderstand) it. May 8, 20188 yr Here's some q's to add to that test regarding driving(motorbike); 1should you wear a helmet y/n 2 should you stop at a red light y/n 3 is it ok to race your bike y/n 4 Should you stop for a pedestrian at a crossing y/n 4 should you have more than one pillion passenger y/n etc etc. Then lets see how many pass these life saving IQ questions
