Briffault’s law maintains that “the female, not the male, determines all the conditions of the animal family. Where the female can derive no benefit from association with the male, no such association takes place.”  Today we would say “relationship” rather than “association.”

Do animals have 'relationships'?

As far as I know Briffault's law is applied to all female mammals.

 

It isn't just about humans and women.

Yep, " Briffault's law" should be taught at school, although it might affect the population growth.

That Briffault guy must have been a genius, it took me almost 50 years to understand women.

We have inexplicable experiences with women, then we read Briffault's Law and something goes "click".
