There are plenty of them riding all around Phuket. I think the newer model motorbikes with smaller, fatter wheels come out of the shop like that. Supposedly there is a specified noise limit in the law & I reckon many of these bikes must be over the limit.

Seventy illegally modified bikes seized is the good news for me.

We have a group/family of these bike  .........ers living past me. They have a habit of opening up maximum revs going down the hill past me. All conversation stops until they back off a 100 metres or so down the road.

As stated haven't heard them for a couple of days, hopefully this action has swept them up.

Same here, have a couple of bikes here which shake the house when going past, police don't care!!
