Hospital for surgery on c4/c5

Featured Replies

Having some c4/c5 issues for the last five years.

Doctor in HK have prescribed me lorazepam, temgesic and lyrica. Though I avoid taking these. Not sure of the status in Thailand.

I am going to need some compressive surgery and would like to do that in Hua Hin to be with my family during recovery.

And thoughts?

Yes - definitely do NOT try to do this in Hua Hin.

I am not even sure you could find a surgeon willing/able to try there. Health facilities in Hua Hin are small with limited specialist capacities.

Have it done in Bangkok. You can still recuperate in Hua Hin afterwards. Depending on surgical technique, for C4/5 usually just 1-2 nights in hospital.

I recommend Prof Wicharn for this, he can be seen at either BNH or Bangkok Christian hospital

Thank you for the great advice and the Dr recommendation.

What would be an outline cost for such a procedure? From what I have been told it is a Disc Herniation at about 50%.
