An EKG during an annual health exam at Chula Hosp turned up a premature ventricular contraction, which can be entirely harmless, but the doc says I should see a cardiologist and do a 24-hour test to see if the contractions are frequent. Has anyone here seen a cardiologist at Chula recently and can recommend? At this stage, since PVCs are common, I have no symptoms, and I just need further testing, I'd rather not spend for a private hospital -- unless you know good reason to do so. Thank you.

Both Dr.Somkiat and Dr.Taworn would be ( and were ) my choice at Chula . Had to see Dr.Taworn at Bangkok Christian Hospital and Dr.Somkiat at Chula but both can be seen at Chula if you are prepared to wait . How fortunate we are to have really two of the top Cardiologist in the world ( possibly the top heart Dr.'s and professors / teachers in this country for sure ) right here that we can see . Both have such kind and caring attitudes and possibly that why they are such respected professors / teachers in Thailand . Both spent much time with me as I really wanted to investigate my heart health as I workout much now and when I was younger abused my health before I got sober 20+ years ago .
