Crime Bomb Squad Police Officer Surrenders After Shooting Father Dead in Ratchaburi Family Dispute
Picture courtesy of Khaosod A police officer has turned himself in after fatally shooting his biological father seven times in what authorities are calling a deeply disturbing domestic incident. The suspect, a bomb disposal officer, is being held without bail due to the seriousness of the crime. The victim, 73-year-old Mr. Prasarn, was gunned down inside his home in Khung Phayom Subdistrict, Ban Pong District, Ratchaburi Province, on the evening of 23 July. The suspect was identified as his own son, Police Lieutenant Colonel Prayoon, an officer in the Ratchaburi Provincial Police Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) unit. Following the issuance of an arrest warrant, police launched a manhunt for Lt. Col. Prayoon, dispatching investigative teams to track him down and apply pressure for his surrender. On 25 July at 18:00, he reported to Ban Pong Police Station and handed himself in to Pol. Col. Kobchok Lektrakun, Superintendent of Ban Pong Police Station and Pol. Lt. Col. Phuwadon Udomnapakhun, Deputy Superintendent of Investigation. Appearing physically and emotionally drained, the suspect was immediately taken into custody for interrogation. Pol. Col. Kobchok revealed that Ratchaburi Provincial Police Commander, Pol. Maj. Gen. Watchirapong Amornpitak, had ordered the urgent apprehension of the suspect, instructing his teams to maintain sustained pressure. The initial investigation points to ongoing domestic tensions between father and son, including repeated verbal disputes, as the likely motive behind the shooting. “This is a serious and violent crime. The provincial commander has made it clear that no bail will be granted in this case,” Col. Kobchok stated, adding that the investigation must be thorough before proceeding with legal prosecution. BREAKING - WSJ: Trump’s Name All Over The Epstein Files
Judge Robin Rosenberg said in her ruling that because the Justice Department had requested the sealed evidence be released due to “extensive public interest” and not as part of a judicial proceeding – the standard usually applied by judges in such cases – her “hands are tied.” https://edition.cnn.com/2025/07/23/politics/judge-declines-grand-jury-documents-jeffrey-epstein -

Authorities have dismantled a major online distribution network selling illegal pharmaceuticals used in the preparation of the dangerous “4x100” concoction — a narcotic mixture of kratom, cough syrup, and other substances favoured by some youths. The bust led to the seizure of thousands of items with a street value exceeding one million baht. UK Flat – Sell or Keep Renting? Expats Who’ve Been There – What Did You Do?
And what is wrong with you people not reading my replies regarding the right to NHS treatment, what you have said about it is in practice not true. I sold my house in 2021, stayed in Thailand until March this year, came back to buy a property to rent out which I did, but before I bought the property I had treatment at an NHS hospital, they just needed my NHS number which is never taken away from us. When was the last time you went to a hospital in the UK and they asked you if you had been out of the UK for a certain period of time, erm the answer is never. Thanks for you stating no more conversations as you are probably sulking in the corner anyway but have a good day no matter what. 🙂
