Five jailed 16-19 years for forcing Moroccan women into Bangkok prostitution

THE CRIMINAL Court Wednesday sentenced an Australian to 19 years imprisonment and a Syrian, two Thais and a Moroccan to 16 years imprisonment for forcing four Moroccans into prostitution at a Bangkok pub.

LONDON (Reuters) - British singer Cliff Richard won substantial damages on Wednesday after London's High Court ruled the BBC had breached his privacy by televising a police raid on his house which he said had left him feeling violated.

CHIANG RAI, Thailand (Reuters) - The 12 boys and their soccer coach rescued from a flooded cave in Thailand waved, smiled and offered traditional "wai" greetings in their first public appearance on Wednesday at a national broadcast in the northern province of Chiang Rai.

NEW DELHI (Reuters) - A six-storey apartment block collapsed into an adjacent building in a suburb of New Delhi killing at least three people, police said on Wednesday, as rescuers searched for people feared trapped in the rubble.
