Garden hose

Featured Replies

Homepro, Big C, Thai Wassadu, local market, just about anywhere really.

If you mean a proper hose with swaged 3/4 inch brass fittings, forget finding one here.

Best you can do is get one of the standard Thai hoses, then go to plumbing supply store for screw clamps and adapter to 3/4. Try Hardware house a little south of Ambassador in Ban Amphur for the fittings and clamps.

Thanks Tman, the missus fixed it all while l searched the www dot!

And don't buy any 'premium' expensive locally made hose with the misconception that it will last. It won't. Buy cheap and buy often.

I do have a couple of garden hoses that I've had for almost 10 years now. I brought them from the US... with the swaged 3/4" brass end bits as well. They are reserved for the pressure washer, car wash and special stuff that I, the Lord of the Manor has to do. The third-world country types I share space with tend to abuse them, loose the fittings, etc., so the other, cheap hoses in the yard from Big C are just for them.

I have what used to be clear plastic hose from a local hardware store that's over 8 years old. It's not quite as flexible or clear as it used to be, but other than that it's holding up well.
