American fights back as he thwarts an attempted motorbike theft.

An attempted motorbike theft now from Soi Tidawan off the Central Pattaya Road. Police were called to the location in the early hours of Monday Morning after receiving a call from Mr. Joseph Pertz aged 44 from USA.

He explained to Police that he was driving along this street towards his room to collect his girlfriend when he was blocked by two young Thai men who clearly wanted his motorbike, a White Susuki Step. Mr. Pertz decided to resist the two men and a fight took place.

One of the suspects ran away leaving Khun Roongatit aged 19 at the scene. He was arrested by Police at the scene and was later charged with attempted theft at the Police Station where the victim and the suspect were questioned and Khun Roongatit confessed to the attempted theft.
