Tip of the iceberg. Bring on the Red Bull heir, and what about the black leopard Hi-so.? All swept under the table.

Probably less than 2 - then he will be appointed to a key position in General Prayut's government and special adviser on 'how to be thoroughly corrupt and get away with it for so long'!

Ye of little faith.    ?

He will, however, serve no more than 20 years, the maximum period allowed under the law.

Why would a judge sentence a person for a longer term than that allowed by law?

Is he placing a stamp of disapproval or something akin to that?

The judge didn't.

He gave him 42 short sentences.

You mean Prayut will enlighten him as to how you can get away with illegal acts with impunity

Thanks, I missed that.

"The Criminal Court found Wirapol Sukphol, formerly known as Luang Puu Nen Kham, guilty of 42 counts of fraud, money laundering and computer crimes for bamboozling more than 28 million baht from at least 29 people."

The beauty of the whole matter is it's all just an exercise in bullsh*t as we all  clearly know.

The system is corrupt a deserves a l

I believe he will do no time if he becomes a Monk?

Oh well there you go.

Isn't he already a Monk which is what got him into the trouble in the first place?

Was on the TG flight last July from NRT which he was "jetsetting" back to Thailand for his life sentence. He was well surrounded the entire time. Snapped a couple distant, crappy pix as he was being pre-boarded.

Rather ironic, all the non-compassionate replies.
