brewsterbudgen Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 58 year old Brit, with young wife and 3 year old, with savings of around £200,000 and a UK final salary pension (frozen since 2001), salary of around 80,000 baht a month, no mortgage - is Life Insurance a good idea/worth it? Premiums seem to be around £2-3,000 a year, for a 10/15 year term policy, with a benefit of £250,000. Sent from my SM-A500F using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app
scorecard Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 I don't have a full answer, however you mention '3 year old' If you want to put some of your investments specifically into the future of the boy/girl, can I suggest you contact Tokio Marine (not sure If I can mention the name, please PM to me if needed), they have a pension product which can be started from 30 days old). Total final value / the amounts you want to invest up to you. Old, well respected insurance company from Japan, many products, they have a big office in Bkk and in big regional centers. Plenty of English. Worth a look.
