Can pigeon's read Thai!? It looks that way in Yasothon!

A booze warehouse in Yasothorn got absolutely fed up with pigeons making a mess of the merchandise.

There were droppings and feathers everywhere and everything had been tried to scare the pesky birds away.

Grilles and screens were put up but they still managed to get in. It was a real headache.

At their wits end the management of the depot on Arun Prasert Road in Tat Thong sub-district turned to a respected local elder.

Finance department employee Nareumon Saengphan, 47 told Sanook:

"The respected local elder suggested we put up a sign. They said that should do the trick".

The large red vinyl sign with white lettering says: "Absolutely no pigeons allowed".

Amazingly, said Nareumon, it has worked.

"We don't know why, maybe they are scared of the red in the sign. Anyway, they have all left and the problem is over".

Here at Thaivisa we think they may have done a course in Thai language.

After moving on from pidgin English perhaps?

I bet Nareumon is the only one with a degree from a foreign university in the company.

Pigeons more smart then so many crazy/stupid thai drivers (cannot read the driving rules) ?
