Booked a hotel online yesterday. stayed there  many times before. They were showing a special rate for "Japanese holidays". I chose it and paid in full via my credit card.

 

This morning I saw this email:  

 

Dear Mr. 

 

Your reservation has been cancelled. This promotion is available for Japanese only but we can offer you the same rate. Please contact us as soon as possible to confirm your reservation.

 

They just cancelled my booking, and want me to do it all over again.

 

I wonder if they will be offering a special deal for other nationalities for certain holidays. Anyone else experienced this in Bangkok?
