I know them well. Used to run scams on Koh Samui, and later in Surat Thani Town until running off to Pattaya. I have many friends, farang as well as thai, who wants to have a word or two with them.  
I am happy they will spend a few years in the monkey house.

Unregistered Guns are cheap and common in Thailand

Better to not allow any test drives without leaving the asking price
