4,355 years? Seriously? While I like to see criminals get their just desserts, such a sentence is just laughable. The court makes a mockery of itself by such insane judgments. A simple life with no parole, would have done the trick. People around the world will be laughing at the idiocy of the judge who dished this one out, who apparently is just a little ignorant of a humans life expectancy.

Thailand has two extremes:  Sentences so light as to be of no deterrence value; sentences so heavy as to be farcical.  In the Buddhist country, I wonder why they never give consideration to 'the middle path' as in punishment fitting the crime.
A life sentence 50 times over for fraud?  Run over a commoner in your Mercedes E400 while drunk and negotiate 50,000 THB blood money with the family and walk free.

There's little in-between.

He looks like a cute boy , will be popular in prison , they will party all night.

But 4000+ years will never happen , with a 20 year maximum sentence he could be out within 10 years,

Well when you have Senior Judges (now ex judges) who threaten to expose their own wives naughty bits in the media unless they do as they are told,  what would you expect other than a mockery of judicial process ?

with good behaviour he will be out in 2000 years
