Urology clinic in Phuket town only

Featured Replies

Hi, i'm looking for a urology clinic (not hospital) in Phuket town. I need to do a ultrasound there too because i have a kidney stone.

Thanks ?

Clinics are normally only for beauty or dental work here - hospitals are where medical work is performed.  The few medical clinics are normally runny nose type with sometimes questionable staffing.

Most of the clinics I've used here are run by the same doctors that work in the main hospitals but normally in the evenings.

There is a clinic opposite Makro that has an ultrasound though that's open 8.30 - 5pm I think but it always has a long queue. Sorry I don't know the name of the place but I've heard that the Dr there is excellent.

As stated by Goldieinkathu, many, if not most, of the specialists/consultants have their own clinic but also work in the hospitals.

I can recommend a Urologist in Phuket town but I don't believe he has ultrasound in his clinic. But he'll meet you at the Mission or one of the fancy hospitals and do the ultrasound there - for peanuts in the Mission.

I only know of one (there may be many, for all I know) specialist/consultants who has ultrasound in his clinic, but he is a gastroenterologist.

Dr. Somchai (Urologist): 076254449

Dr. Somchai   =   Samkong, no ultrasound

opposite Makro    gastroenterologist   = Dr. Sumit

I don't like urologists; they always take the piss!
