I have a multiple entry non immigrant O, married to a Thai. I should have been leaving the kingdom but my next job has been delayed and I will have been here 90 days on the 24th.

I don't fully understand the rules on the Hull consulate website, I need to know if I have to do a visa run before the 90 days to stay here for a further 90 or can I just go to immigration dept. and get it extended, and if so for how long. The hull website seems to suggest it may be possible to go to immigration and get a further 90 days.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I think you can't,I am not sure though. But it is stated that you have to leave every 90 days. But you could just leave anytime now,and just get another 90 days stemped in your passport, that's why the multiple is for.

The original "multiple entry" type 'O' is valid for 1 year from date of issue. You can do a 'visa run' up until the day before the original visa expires and you will be given another 90 days stay. The longest extension that I have had at the end of a type 'O' visa (also issued at Hull) was 30 days.

Pretty well covered in the previous posts, do a border run and get another 90 day stay :o

Extensions of variable duration depending upon the mood of the officer, may be available for 1900 Baht, for that you could do a border hop and get 90 no questions asked :D
