BANGKOK, 17th October 2018 (NNT)-The Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC) and Starfish Education Foundation have jointly developed innovative educational tools for 10 primary schools in Bangkok to promote STEM learning among children.

The development of innovative learning tools is part of the Innovative School Project by the OBEC and Starfish Education Foundation. These educational materials will be given to nine primary schools under the management of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and one OBEC school.

In addition to students and teachers at these schools, local residents living nearby will also be allowed to use these innovations without paying a penny. Free training will also be given to teachers to enable them to use such inventions correctly.

The objective of the Innovative School project is to develop critical, analytical and teamwork skills which will help children to become well-rounded adults in the future.

Well done, and I hope this is a catalyst for greater usage of these tools and expansion into other subject areas.

But it would be even better if the teachers use two way communications and continuously encourage the students to ask questions, to discuss and to comment.

But that brings a big question - can the typical teachers answer the questions?

STEM Stare Telephone Education Mandate

The new Thailand 4.0 education initiative. They are start getting taught at an even younger age to stare at their phones all days. Now if they can just somehow figure out how to get money out of foreigners and then kick them out the plan will be perfect.
