Popular Post zaphod reborn
I don't know how they can expect 7-11 clerks to handle banking and postal transactions. The bank clerks and postal clerks barely are able to complete these transactions. 2 1
scorecard
Do they need some form of licence for this service, do they have it. Call me a socialist if you want, no problem, but it seems to me that all governments, among their many responsibilities, should be trying to spread opportunities across the whole community, not just watching one massive conglomerate grow bigger and reduce competitiveness and therefore get away with higher prices. hansnl
This is just the end for me. No more 7-11. Too much power in one company. 1 1

Is there any difference between CP All PLC owner of 7/11's and the current government?

scorecard
Actually there could be some interesting business strategy involved here. Everybody is well ware that on-line shopping is killing retail stores fronts, So is 7/11 (either the Japanese master brand owner or CP the Thailand local franchise holder looking to provide services which cannot be on-line (postal) to bring customers into 7 shops. Further, when will we see postal services whereby customers don't need to leave the house? In fact a model could be, postman delivers mail / packages to the house and at the same time accepts envelopes / packages going out. Maybe a need to have some different resources (perhaps very small purpose fitted vans instead of M/Cs), but it could be done. They are already ahead of you here, with shopat24.com quite often same price as Lazada without the crappy last mile logistics, pick up at nearest 7/11, phones, laptops etc...
