Explaining that one to the authorities is going to be costly in terms of fines or freedom, or both, and never mind losing a son. But maybe they should not have bred to begin with.

At least he's lived a long and full life, unlike this moron.

The kid did not even seem to attempt to duck. Maybe he was gaming on his phone.

So nobody in the car could see the low barrier up ahead ?  More stupid than Thai drivers !

Looks to me that the kid must have been driving the car himself, possibly with his feet on the steering wheel, as I could see no driver in the seat !

The story does say "The accident took place at about 5pm in Xinyu city in the south-eastern province of Jiangxi, reported Chinese media outlets. "

Sherlock would not be impressed.

Looks to me like he was dipping his head just before he hit.

What tripe.

This is a 13 year old irresponsible kid. The person responsible is the adult driver of the car for allowing this.

The World has been Robbed of another Albert Einstein.

You would think with the "one child policy" his parents would have picked a smarter one to procreate.

Please keep the discussion civil or suspensions will be given.   A 13 year old has died.   Most young people are not mature enough to make good decisions.   It's sad that someone driving a vehicle would allow this to occur.

Maybe he was listening to music and looking at his smart phone. RIP.
