Prawit: No officials tied to drug rings

History would suggest differently.

1. That the little watch lover would know

2. And that underpaid, under trained, under respected soldiers would not be enticed in some way.

Once more...nothing confirms the truth as well as an official denial.

Exactly...

The simple premise that they don't seem to get.

History might also suggest that the system is a well-oiled criminally organized scheme - trickling up and trickling down - for ages.

Such is the principle infection that prevents Thailand from moving on.

This proverbial bacteria requires complete removal, less the talk of metaphoric antibiotics.

Whatever Prawit says, the opposite is true. He could not possibly have less credibility. He has done less for his people than Winnie the Pooh.

One thing is certain. The Thai people are getting fleeced by this administration. Corrupt beyond measure. They are not doing much useful work.

If no officials are tied to drug rings or protecting the drug trade how come gangs of Nigerians and other africans have been allowed to stand on street corners and sell drugs openly to passers-by for years, under the noses of the authorities.

Like the ones in front of the 7/11 on the corner of Sukhumvit Soi 13 or in front of Family Mart in that Soi. Or the ones that sit in the same locations on the sub sois of Soi 3 every night.

Everyone knows and sees what is going on. It is impossible that the police are just incompetent and either unaware or lacking the ability to deal with these pushers if they wanted.

I  object. Winnie the Pooh has provided wholesome entertainment and a measure of cutesiness.

Prawit cannot be mentioned in the same breath.

When a cop gets caught for involvment, commits suicide in the lock up and then watch boy comes out with this statement.

What is one to make of this?

I believe the party line and accepted truth is that any official caught supplying drugs simply is required to repeat the mantra:

"They were borrowed from a dead friend and I will return them to him

They do not belong to me"
