Why do Thai people fall asleep in less than 5 minutes?

Featured Replies

I noticed Thai people fall asleep extremly fast, almost inhumanely fast haha!

Most Thai people fall asleep in less than 5 minutes. I noticed this with my fathers thai girlfriend, at thai friends place during sleep overs , and in buses.

Like in the bus i often see a thai person sitting next to me closing their eyes and in a couple of minutes they already snoring and sleeping deep haha!

Is it because they are against thinking and dont think much? Less thoughts = fall asleep faster

Thai people always say "not think too much, make headache" , so  <removed>  could be a reason why they fall asleep so fast! ???? Buddhism teaching them to not think.

Because they have far less bussing around in their heads than us. I don't mean that in a nasty way- they just have a different outlook on life and don't clutter themselves with all the things se do. I am quite jealous at times when I can't fall asleep as I can't shut down.

Given the benefit of the doubt initially but seems "Thai bashing" was the intent.
